Prime Catchers Program

Designed and taught by former collegiate and professional catchers, the Prime Catchers Program is built to take your catching skills to the next level! The evolution of catching has changed the way the position is being valued through the use of data. We will introduce the changing viewpoints and data collections that will make the players in the program understand the value of framing, blocking, and throwing. We will provide reasons why the setup is useful for some but, just like anything in the game, may not be valuable for others.

Program Features

  • Development of the 3 skill areas in elite catchers: framing, blocking, and throwing
  • Develop skills through video review, data, and coaching of experienced instructors
  • Use of foam rollers, weighted balls, hack attack, and medicine balls to develop skill areas
